Panorama Condominium ELV System
The Panorama at Persiaran Hampshire has been completed since 2011 is an up market condominium located near KLCC vicinity. The name Panorama is due to design shape like a fan and its panoramic view over the KLCC area. This condominium is equipped with the latest ELV system providing maximum comfort for the tenants.
In my last article I wrote about we are the system provider for the Panorama where we supply and install the ELV system consist of CCTV, Apartment Intercom System, Guard Tour System, Barrier Gate, Public Address System and Card Access System The project has been completed in early 2011 and has been handover to the developer.
The main system is the apartment intercom system using Fermax iloft series for the 223 apartment units in Tower A and Tower B. The Fermax iloft is compact and slim in design and incorporate with a 4” TFT screen and the tenants can have two way communications with the visitor. All public entrance at the lift lobby and main entrance lobby is also fitted with the entrance intercom panel. At the management office and the guard house is where the visitor can speak to the apartment units via the intercom before allow going in.
For security card access we incorporated the Bosch TCU 8000 series that was install at the lift units and guard house car entrance gate. The entrance to the lift lobby from car park basement also fitted with reader that proximity tag to enter and the visitors have to request the tag from the guard house.
The Panorama condo has also built in CCTV system and public address system install as part of the ELV system. The PA system is by Amperes and CCTV is from LG camera. To elaborate further all the basement parking area and public area in the lift lobby and apartment corridor is installed with either ceiling speaker, box speaker or horn speaker. The battery backup of the PA system allow up to 30 mins of working time to power up all speakers for emergency announcement in case of main electrical failure.
To ensure safety from lighting strike and power surge problem all main electronics equipment is protected by the data and power lighting arrestor. Even at the management office and the guard house we installed the protection arrestor so that the equipment is safe.
Initially there was some problem with the boom gate barrier at the main entrance and took us some time to find out the source of the problem. There are 3 systems consist of card access, vehicle loop detection system and the long range RFID reader that work together as a unit. Thanks to the patient of the consultant and the developer and the tenants we managed to get it working again.
