Zero 88 Live At The Congress Product Awareness 2020

On 24th August 2020 Zero 88 UK for the first time stages a product awareness live stream broadcast from The Congress Theatre, Cwmbran amid on the empty theatre. The Congress Theatre has been repurposed to function as a virtual studio during this pandemic and for the immediate future.

During this event, the Zero 88 team will highlight some of the brand’s newest technologies and product releases.

It started with David Catterall updated the latest changes of the Zero 88 under Cooper Lighting Solutions brand. The rest of the presentation focus specifically on the new ZerOS Server, the Splitter 8 and Gateway 4 / Gateway 8 DMX / RDM data distribution devices, Betapack 4 combined power distribution and dimmer units and Zero 88’s RigSwitch remote controlled power switching solutions

The new Splitter 8 is 1U offering both splitter and “data fix”” functionality in a single device. Gateway 4 and Gateway 8 converts four or eight universes of Ethernet (sACN of Art-Net) into DMX512/RDM.

Launching the awaited Betapack 4 unit offering both the dimming and non-dim hot power connectivity to a mixed of both tungsten and LED fixtures in a single, affordable device.

ZerOS server will be an interesting backup device for large theatre performance show. Full tracking backup and auto switch-over with FLX, for any venue or event where redundancy is required. The ZerOS Server is also a powerful and proven lighting control application designed for the control of all types of performance lighting including LED, intelligent moving lights, media servers, effects and traditional theatrical lighting fixtures and dimmers.
