AISM Black Box Theater

The Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) has built the new extension block to accommodate the ever increasing students and that include the new black box theater.  AISM is the first and only International School in Malaysia offering an Australian Curriculum, delivered by Australian teachers and is part of the Taylors Education group.

Here we supply and install sound system and studio lighting in the black box theater as part of the school requirement to teach the student on the proper theatre lighting and sound. The luminaries is from ADB Lighting consist of various Fresnel, Prism Convex and profile spotlight. The dimmer system is by Zero 88 Betapack 3 and Control desk is from Zero 88 Jester ML24.

The setting up is having rigging in the center of the hall and focus as for middle play. The adjustment has to be manually up there via a ladder I guess.

For the audio the speaker system is consist of 2 x AD Spark 12 12” fullrange and 2 x AD subwoofer of 15”. The amplifier is also by AD System and mix with the Yamaha mixer. This is quite simple setup because some time the facility will be use for graduation and other function.
