MDEC Post Production And Rendering Terminal Facility

MDEC or Multimedia Development Corporation located in Cyberjaya is a Malaysian government privately own corporation which directs and oversees Malaysia’s National ICT Initiative and to develop MSC Malaysia-specific practices, and set breakthrough standards for multimedia operations. They provide different venue and facilities to encourage people with ICT base to create and develop ideas in software.

One of the recent new venues is Post Production & Rendering Terminal Facility. Artistic Controls has been awarded for the Interior Fit Out and Renovation Works which provide acoustic treatment for the studio and part AV and ELV systems for the facilities.

MDEC Entrance Area

For Acoustic planning and implementation we work closely with Acoustic Concepts as they are our partner for the acoustic matter. Here all room is treatment with acoustic absorbent like rockwool suitable for the recording and studio facilities. There is 2 layers of wall with air gap in between to prevent sound from other room coming thus it is a properly treated. All room finishes with ID selected colour cloth.

The facilities consist of rendering farm zone with 4 rendering rooms and recording studio with 3 processing and audio room. In the ELV packages we provide the card access system for 11 doors using Microengine card access and CCTV system for all areas.
