Pinewood Iskandar TV Studio Installation

Pinewood Studio at Iskandar Johor built two High Definition (HD) Television studios each with 12000 sq. ft. with facilities of self-climbing hoist, perimeter black curtain and studio lighting for HD filming. The project for the supply and installation of the lighting and curtain equipment is done by LSI Projects UK.

Artistic Controls has the opportunity to work with LSI UK to assist the UK team to install the trunking and cabling work and where the local skills were needed. Since all major lighting equipment was supply from the UK and the main installation is carry out by the LSI professional team.

Here we also supply two sets 1000A switch board made by our local manufacturer Powerwell.

Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studios is a studio complex located at a 20-hectare site in Nusajaya, Johor, managed by The Pinewood Studios Group. It is the largest development of a new film and television studio facility in Iskandar.

The two 12,000 sq ft High Definition (HD) equipped TV studios with audience capacity of 1,260 and adjacent audience holding facilities accessible to both studios.

Apart from the two TV Studio Pinewood studios also have the state-of-the-art facilities in the studio complex include 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2) of film stages, ranging from 15,000 square feet (1,400 m2) to 30,000 square feet (2,800 m2). The biggest stage at 30,000 square feet (2,800 m2) has a water tank for productions that require work on or under water
